2018 CEALAC Chinese New Year Dinner

On Saturday, February 10th, the Chinese Employees Association of Los Angeles County (CEALAC) hosted it's annual Chinese New Year celebration to nearly 400 attendees at the East Gourmet Seafood Restaurant.  Among the guests of honor CEALAC hosted were State Treasurer John Chiang, Congresswoman Judy Chu, Assemblyman Ed Chau, Assemblyman Phillip Chen, representative for Supervisor Hilda Solis, representative for Supervisor Barger, and 10 department heads. 

During the event, CEALAC honored Sheryl L. Spiller (Director, Department of Public Social Services) for her accomplishments, dedication, hard work, and 50 years of public service. Through your support, we also presented our first annual CEALAC scholarship for 2018 to Jessica Hsueh, Marisa King, Thomas Lee, and Shelton Dong.
